Through coordination with the Indiana County Coroner's Office and in response to the family's wishes, I am saddened to inform you that ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ freshman Brenton Croll, 18, Roaring Springs, a nursing major living on campus, died, Wednesday, March 18, in a friend's on-campus residence hall room.

The Indiana County Coroner is working to determine the cause of death.

Obviously the death of any ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ student is tragic and difficult to bear for members of the ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ community. I am sure you join me in expressing concern and sympathy for Brenton's friends and family.

The ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ Counseling Center provides walk-in crisis counseling to students on a daily basis. Students also may call the Counseling Center at 724-357-2621 to make an appointment or to speak to a counselor. A 24-hour crisis hotline is available at , 724-465-2605.

Details regarding funeral arrangements and a memorial service will be shared at a later date.
