ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ's IT Support has developed a website with information and resources for how features of D2L (Brightspace Learning Environment), various web browsers, and mobile devices can be adjusted to improve access to the web for individuals with disabilities. -
Read&Write Literacy Software
ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ offers access to Read&Write software, the award-winning literacy support software application from Everway. Any active ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ student can install and use Read&Write on their personal computer or mobile device via their ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Microsoft Office 365 account. -
Ray Coppler Disability Awareness Award
The annual Coppler Award honors and gives special recognition to an ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ student (undergraduate or graduate) who has displayed exemplary and creative contributions (beyond the requisites of their major) toward disability awareness, advocacy, accessibility, support, and/or education. Special consideration is given to students whose efforts have impacted the inclusion of people with disabilities within the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ community. -
Guidelines for Planning Accessible Activities and Events
As a state institution, ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ falls under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which requires ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ to make all of its programs, services, activities, and events accessible to people with disabilities.
