ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ’s official mascot, the Crimson Hawk, is named Norm! Norm gets his name from ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ’s roots. ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ was initially named “Indiana Normal School” in 1875, then changing to “Indiana State College” in 1959, and finally “ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ” in 1965 after achieving university status.
